ECDS was founded in 2006 with a focus on delivering software solutions to leading organizations in Bangladesh and providing world class Software Engineering Services to foreign clients at very competitive prices. Adnan N. Rahman, Founder & CEO of ECDS, worked for Polycom, USA from 1998 to 2005 (& 1996‐1997 PT) in the Massachusetts software engineering group. He worked closely with Polycom's iPower, PVX & QSX product lines and was a key interface to IBM, EMC and Intel with respect to Software Configuration Management.

Adnan N. Rahman is also a Director at Pubali Jute Mills Ltd. and The Kapna Tea Company Ltd., ECDS’s sister companies in Bangladesh that together employ over 2000 people in the manufacturing (Jute & Tea) sector. He brings to the table valuable insights into both brick and mortar businesses and the cutting edge of web based enterprise application technology.
